Dear Pre-K Family,

We are pleased to offer full-day, high-quality pre-K to every four-year-old in New York City. We are always working to improve our programming to help families and teachers support every child’s learning! 

As part of your pre-K experience, you will learn about activities for families, including workshops and other free events at your child’s pre-K program.

Research Project. This year, we are doing a research project to improve the ways families are invited to participate in activities in pre-K. Teachers and staff will let parents know about activities in different ways over the next few months. All pre-K families at your child’s program will be invited to participate in the activities.

Share Contact Information. Your pre-K program will share all families’ contact information (name, phone number, address) with our research project team so the team can send tailored messages about the activities to families. This may include invitations and postcards.

Privacy. The research project team will not share your contact information with anyone. If you wish to stop receiving messages at any point, text STOP to the sending number and messages will stop immediately.

Optional. If you do not want your pre-K program to share your contact information with the research project team, check the “No” box below. It is your choice whether or not to participate. Checking “No” will not affect your child’s experience in pre-K in any way.
