I am excited to welcome back our students and families for the 2023/2024 academic year.

This year we will once again be offering the Early Morning Drop Off and After School Program. These programs will be on a first come, first serve basis. Please complete the registration forms for the programs and return to

by September 7, 2023. You will be notified by email if your child(ren) have been enrolled in the program...

Happy May! Here are important dates for the month of May:

Friday, May 5:           12pm dismissal for K-8; Faculty meeting
Monday, May 8:         MAP testing: testing ends May 26
Friday,May 12:           Zoo Trip grades Kg-4
Thursday, May 18:     Ascenion Thursday, school open; Trip for grades 5-7
Friday, May 19:          8th grade graduation trip
Friday, May 26:          No school
Monday, May 29:       No school, Memorial Day
Tuesday, May 30:      No school

Dear Parents,
Easter recess is April 6 through April 14. School resumes Monday, April 17.

ELA state exams are April 19 through April 21 for grades 3 -8.

Friday, April 27 is 11:30am dismissal for grades Kg-8. It is report card conferences. Your child's teacher will reach out to you, if they need to meet with you. Report cards will be released, available for you to view on Educate, on April 27. If you need access, please contact Ms.Forese at [email protected]g or at 347-326-8594.

Parents:

I hope you are enjoying the summer! I have posted information on the web page about the beginning of school. Also, on the web page is the information for registering for after school. Please return the forms by email to [email protected] or the frst day of school. 

All students (Kg-grade 8) must be in complete uniforms on the first day of school. Uniform sale dates and order forms ar on the front page of the school's web site. PLEASE NOTE WE WILL STRICTLY ENFORCE ALL UNIFORM REGULATIONS THIS SCHOOL YEAR.

The tenetative calendar for the year is posted the web page (stlucys.org). You will be notfied of any chnages.  

I am happy to announce that we will have Chess Club again. The information with the cost, dates and times are posted the web page. Payment is made directly to Chess Wizards. You must be registered to join Chess. The registration link is in the flyer posted on line.

Band will be back again this year. Registration forms will be distributed in September.
