- Read the novel, A Long Walk to Water by Linda Sue Park.
- Complete the following assignments:
1) Five challenging words and sentences:
Find five words you found challenging in the novel and use each of those
words in a sentence. You must use your own words and cannot copy the
sentence from the book, a dictionary, or any online website. If your sentences
are copied from any source, you will receive a zero for this part of the
assignment. This part of the assignment is worth 40 points.
2) Tic-Tac-Toe:
Choose three boxes to make a tic-tac-toe. Answer the questions or provide the
information being asked in each of the three boxes you chose. Be sure to mark
each box with an X to show your tic-tac-toe. Be sure to answer each box using
complete sentences and providing textual evidence (two pieces) to support
your answer. Do this on the attached loose-leaf paper. This part of the
assignment is worth 60 points.
